I have lived in Cairns since 1980. The first marriage I performed was as a clerk of the court at the Cairns Magistrates Court in 2001.

As a local resident I am familiar with so many beautiful ceremony locations. The options in The Cairns Region are almost endless and include beautiful beaches, tropical islands, pristine rivers, magical tropical gardens and many 5 star resorts. Palm Cove, Kewarra Beach, Port Douglas, Atherton, Kuranda, Mareeba and the Atherton Tablelands are just a few of the places that I travel to.

Getting to remote locations down dirt roads or sand cays on The Great Barrier Reef via quick helicopter ride is all in a days work when you live in this amazing part of the world. 

My goal is to make it “your day your way” I will help you put all of your dreams and ideas together to create a ceremony that represents you and makes your guests feel welcome and included. 

I love to include special people in the ceremony whether they are your children, pets,  parents, siblings or friends, these are the people that have shared in your life and will be there for you in the future. 

Crafting a ceremony and sharing it with your loved ones is one of the most significant events of our lives.

Weddings can be big and glamorous or small and intimate. The most important thing is that you and your partner are able to be yourselves and enjoy every moment.

Renewal of Vows

Renewing your vows can be a wonderful way to reaffirm to vows and promises you made at the start of your marriage. 

Sometimes it gives you a chance to include children or grandchildren or even to have a special day that you were unable to have when you first said your vows. 

I work with you to create a personalised service that encompasses all your special memories and pays tribute to the journey you have made together 

Naming Ceremonies 

Naming ceremonies have become a popular way to welcome your special little person or people to the family. 

They can be for a newborn or a child or person of any age, we can create a ceremony and ritual that makes the family feel like they now joined together in a new way. 

The combining of sands is a lovely way to show that lots of different parts can be mixed together to make something new and wonderful. 

Funeral Ceremonies, Memorials and Celebration of Life

I have completed extensive Funeral Celebrant training and have many years of support service experience. 

I feel very privileged to help you in your time of need to navigate the funeral process and to create a ceremony that helps to process the loss of a loved one. 

I am able to provide a service that is based on the persons beliefs and pride myself on being able to help you to organise your memories into a service that honour the life of your loved one. 

I have an excellent relationship with the Funeral Directors in Cairns and will work with them to make sure that your time of loss is a time when you can grieve and trust that all of your needs are met.
